Okay. My mother died 4 weeks ago, almost 4 months after having a stroke, which forestalled the absolute worst part of Alzheimer's from which she had suffered for some years. Long enough for me to really be convinced that there has to be better ways of dying -- with dignity. This author's wife died from cancer -- with options my mother couldn't have because she wasn't competent to make decisions for herself. But I would want to have the options he discusses in this book were I ever to find myself in similar situation, at an earlier stage of things. Kudos to Orfali for making this book available for free as an e-book to share his convictions and observations.
