Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful! In truth, I am kind of sick of reading about vampires. Although this book, like the others I have read with a vampire-centered theme, are all different. They have some similar qualities--but the authors make different ways to kill them, different ways to become a vampire, etc. It helps to be entertained a bit more. In my opinion, I really don't know who Meena should be with. Alaric or Lucien. Love both. Lucien is this caring, perfect vampire guy. Yet he also can get REALLY angry and he wants to turn her into a vampire invouluntarily. And Alaric is this caring bad-a** vampire slayer guy. Yet he is kinda on the harsh "I can't show that I love her." side, I still like everything about him. I like how things turned out in the book, and I honestly can't wait for the next book. The only thing I didn't like, however, was the change of POV's. I understand the ones for Meena, Lucien, and Alaric. But is Jon and the annoying countess Mary Lou that important? Or Emil? Anyway, overall...I loved it. Cabot keeps getting better and better!
